Juliet Kinsman

Sustainability Editor, Condé Nast Traveller

London-based journalist and sustainability expert Juliet has spent more than two decades celebrating the world’s most special places to spend time. And now it’s her mission to share stories of sustainability to inspire impact — listen to her new podcast series Funny Old World for the eco-curious, which you’ll find on all the usual platforms. She is the first-ever Sustainability Editor of Condé Nast Traveller, and a former author of Louis Vuitton City Guides, and she shares greener travel tips on the BBC, and care of columns in the world’s leading publications. Author of The Green Edit: Travel — Easy Tips for the Eco-Friendly Traveller (2020; Ebury) and The Bucket List Eco Experiences: Traveling the World (2022; Rizzoli), the founding editor of Mr & Mrs Smith created purpose-led non-profit consultancy Bouteco in 2016 to help brands to be stronger storytellers when it comes to sustainability, without greenwash. While she’s keen to keep exploring, and amplifying stories of climate action and hotels supporting nature and local communities, she’s mindful of how we must fly with purpose and gallivant in a more conscious way that leads to positive socio-economic and environmental impact.
